This program is a structured, step-by-step approach to building real financial capability. Each session aligns with a core area of personal finance and includes practical tools, guided exercises, and take-home actions. Participants complete the FIT-1 at the beginning and end of the program to measure progress and reinforce learning.

Understanding income types, paychecks, taxes, benefits, and how money actually flows in.

2. Entrepreneurship

Exploring self-employment, business basics, pricing, expenses, and building a side income.

3. Education and Career Pathways

Making informed decisions about college, trades, or military paths, and understanding long-term financial impact.

4. Saving

Building emergency funds, planning for future expenses, and creating consistent saving habits.

5. Spending

Budgeting, opportunity cost, and making intentional decisions with cash, debit, credit, and other payment methods.

6. Debt and Credit

How borrowing works, how interest compounds, and how to use credit without getting trapped.

7. Big Purchases

Planning and evaluating major decisions like vehicles and other high-cost items.

8. Investing

Understanding compounding, basic investment types, and how to start building wealth over time.

9. Retirement Planning

Key retirement accounts, long-term planning, and building stability even when starting late.

10. Risk and Protection

Insurance, fraud prevention, and protecting assets, income, and identity.

11. Financial Goals

Setting clear goals, tracking net worth, and making data-driven financial decisions.

12. Recap and Action Plan

Participants measure progress, reinforce key concepts, and finalize a Personal Financial Empowerment Plan with a clear 90-day path forward.
